Student Web Server

Getting Started

In order to get started designing and publishing your own information on the web you need to request a web account. These accounts may be obtained from the Helpdesk located in Halsell 108. Once your application has been processed, (usually in less than 24 hours) you will be ready to go!

Getting Help

The best location to get help with your web page is the ITS Help Desk located on the main floor of the Library. The full time staff and Academic Computer Consultant's can provide basic assistance in setting up and accessing your account. The help desk is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Limits and Restrictions

• All users are allowed no more than 250 megabytes of disk space.
• Scripting, anonymous FTP, and directory browsing is not supported.
• All users are subject to guidelines set down in the Student Handbook, the Trinity University Computing Code of Ethics, and the Trinity University Copyright Policy.
